The
feature fight is one for the books. You have the WXC Lightweight Champion Keith
Bullock, coming of 3 solid wins, challenging the WXC Featherweight Champion
Deven "Bad News" Brown, who was set to start making waves in the
pro's, but put on hold because no call-out can go unanswered in Browns eyes.
"This fight is shaping up to be the fan favorite," said, Michael
Pedenelli, Matchmaker and Vice President of WXC.
Other
Champion bouts spectators will have the chance to see Friday night is Eric
Madill 26-4 coming
from Northern Michigan, vs. WXC Light Heavyweight Champion John
Slayton 9-7 of Monroe, Michigan.
Then you will have the WXC Welterweight Champion Joshua Pouget 10-4 of Newport, Michigan, defending
his belt against Nick Sondergeld 27-14 of
Toledo, Ohio. Fans will also have the chance to see the WXC Cruiserweight
Champion Josh Parisian, 8-3 of Howell, Michigan, defend his belt for the
first time since his unbelievable come back from
a horrific beating from John Kish, of Port Huron,
Michigan, in November 2012 to become champion, Parisian will meet
a familiar face from the 2011 Night of Champions, Andrew
Morton, 5-2 of Westland, Michigan. Morton and Parisian went all 3
round with a back and forth war that ended leaving it up to the judges where
Parisian claimed the win.
Moving
on to the smaller weight class champions as you will have the Flyweight
Championship, In October, Thomas Fudoli, 8-1 of Carleton,
Michigan, lost his spot as WXC champion and his flawless record to Jesse
Bazzi, 11-4 of Detroit, Michigan, making Bazzi the new WXC's
Flyweight Champion. Bazzi accepted the re-match proposed by Fudoli as stating,
"going into that fight with a head cold is what lost me the fight,"
and given the chance to prove that was the issue it wouldn't happen again!
Bazzi in a statement says, "the outcome will be the same." Next,
we have the WXC Bantamweight Championship winning the belt in October. Jordan
Mcguire, 6-0, still carrying an undefeated record over a 2nd
round finish with Mike Sindone, 9-4 of South Rockwood,
Michigan, will be what some are calling his biggest test of his career as
he is challenged by Michigan's Northern and WXC's newcomer Jake Lamb, 11-1, who
is ecoed as being one of the Northern's best Bantamweights to date. More
